Kentucky is facing an unprecedented challenge. Thousands of Kentucky families are struggling to meet their basic needs because of unexpected civil legal challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic aftershock.

Now, more than ever, the Commonwealth needs volunteer attorneys.

Together Lawyers Can is a statewide collaboration between Kentucky’s legal aid programs to create a network of pro bono attorneys to address the anticipated rise in numbers and need for civil legal aid resulting from COVID-19.

Join the team by visiting www.togetherlawyerscan.org. By signing up, you will receive invitations to virtual CLEs on civil legal issues impacting Kentuckians. The first CLE (three credit hours) will cover Unemployment Insurance and will remain live on the website for one year. Image describing three hours of CLE. One Hour: Administrative Law and Unemployment Basics. One Hour: All You Ever Wanted to Know About Unemployment Appeals Hearings. One Hour: Ethical Considerations: Attorney Client Privilege and the Duty of Confidentiality.
