We're hiring for an Administrative Projects Director to be based in Bowling Green, KY. Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director, the incumbent will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day details of projects
  • Prepare and monitor action plans, identifying resources, time frames and outcomes for a broad scope of projects
  • Coordinate project tasks and administrative duties, ensuring employees and vendors have what is needed to meet deadlines and milestones
  • Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and record action items
  • Communicate with employees and vendors/suppliers status updates and requirements to keep the project moving forward
  • Monitor project requirements and handle issues as they arise
  • Prepare and present project plans and updates as needed
  • Perform functions which enable the Executive Director to focus on broader planning and issues that arise
  • Monitor training and overnight travel requests for compliance with KLA policy
  • Provide general HR support with recruiting, on-boarding, exiting, job descriptions, performance management, compensation, benefits administration and policies and procedures
  • Ensure KLA facilities are in working order and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Supervise purchasing coordinator and clerical staff
  • May provide coaching to Executive Director and supervisors on HR related matters
  • Coordinate staff meetings, organization events and Board of Director meetings
  • Serve as liaison to Board of Directors, including document preparation, correspondence, reporting and scheduling
  • Provide administrative support services to the Executive Director
  • Prepare reports, documents and correspondence as needed
  • Prepare bank deposits and review and approve payroll
  • Update KLA website and intranet as needed

  • Solid organizational skills, including ability to multitask
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of related experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR experience preferred
